Living with diabetes can be complicated, especially for aging individuals. In our assisted living setting, we are able to offer diabetic care and management as an enhanced care service. This includes glucose monitoring and insulin administration.

If a resident is able to self-monitor and self-manage their blood sugar checks and administer their own insulin, they are able to continue to do so independently.

All residents benefit from having regular supervision so that our care team can spot any changes in their baseline behavior and notify their doctor of symptoms of an underlying problem so that illnesses and infections can be caught early.
