For over a decade, the Schwartzberg family has been welcoming your family into theirs.
When Eli and Emily Schwartzberg founded The Champlain Valley Senior Community, their mission was to provide the best hands-on senior living experience for residents while preserving their dignity, and that is exactly what they have proven they can do. They recognize that aging is a normal life process which everyone experiences in a unique way, so they continually strive to make the community one that encourages, enriches, and fulfills the residents' lives.
In the ever-changing world of elderly care and as we grow as a community, our state-of-the-art facility offers 62 rooms and provides comprehensive care including personal care assistance and supervision, daily meals and snacks, medication management, wellness programs, local transportation, select skilled nursing services, and a secure memory wing for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's.
About the Willsboro Area
Nestled in New York's Adirondack Mountains along the shore of Lake Champlain, Willsboro offers a unique blend of natural beauty, small-town charm, and historical significance.
Located just 30 miles south of Plattsburgh, Willsboro was first settled by Europeans in 1765 by William Gilliland and has had a rich history in paper milling and mining. Located in picturesque Essex County, the area offers opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring the region's scenic trails. The Boquet River Nature Preserve Trail, located in downtown Willsboro, offers Tim's Trail, a 1.15-mile universal access loop designed and built per Federal Accessibility Guidelines. Year-round activities include fishing, hiking, golfing, birdwatching, boating, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
Whether you're visiting for a day or planning to stay, Willsboro's small-town honesty and friendliness are unsurpassed.
